We are looking for Middle Node.js Engineer to join our global team of 6,000 professionals in more than 60 offices worldwide.
Valtech is a founding member of MACH Alliance, a group that educates enterprises on best-of-breed Microservices, APIs, Cloud, and Headless (MACH) technology. Among the projects delivered are works for Levi's, BMW Online Store, Aerolíneas Argentinas.

The Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years of practical experience with Node.js
- Nest.js knowledge
- Experience with Microservices architecture
- Experience with implementing and using APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC etc.)
- Working with any of modern cloud platforms: Azure, AWS
- Following industry best practices: test coverage, code review, git flow
- Working with CI/CD approach, writing auto tests and understanding necessity, OOD skills and knowledge of Design Patterns
- Good knowledge of Typescript
- Upper-Intermediate English level
- Accountability, strong communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
- Strong desire to learn more about business every day.
Optional:
- Basic understanding of Terraform
- Knowledge of React, Next.js, e-commerce platforms, headless CMSes.

As a Middle Node.js Engineer, you’ll be expected to:
- Input and help shape the team’s vision & backlog
- Be part of solution design & application of best practices
- Work and deliver reliable composable enterprise-level applications
- Maintain and support business-critical systems where scale, latency and tech excellence is at the front of mind
- Write high-quality code in NodeJS
- Use industry best practices of development processes & tools
As a consultant and as a binding part between developers and our clients you are expected to develop expertise both in technology and the means to communicate complex concepts and rationale to non-techies.
