At the forefront of technological innovation, our company is in search of a highly motivated and skilled Manager - IT Infrastructure to oversee and enhance our IT infrastructure systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency, security, and the seamless execution of IT services across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Manager - IT Infrastructure, you will:
- Analyse, design, implement it infrastructure services on global & hybrid azure cloud environment or on-premises data centre.
- Interact with internal customer to understand it infrastructure requirements for building software development environments on azure cloud.
- Pro-active management & maintenance of it infrastructure for maximum uptime & security.
- Continuous monitoring, upgradation, patch management, planned maintenance.
- Co-ordinate with global it infrastructure teams & external customers to handle it escalation & sla management/
- Work with OEM & vendors to build it infrastructure solutions, vendor evaluation, co-ordination, price negotiations draft/ enhance it policies/ procedures and other its documentation including monthly reports/ it metrics presentations.
- Ensure it services are operating with complete compliance with internal information security, privacy (GDPR), software licensing policies participation in periodic it audits and process improvement activities.
- Lead and manage the IT Infrastructure team, providing direction, and setting clear objectives to ensure reliable and effective IT operations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT infrastructure strategies that align with organizational goals, including cloud services, server infrastructures, network systems, and security protocols.
- Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability, performance, and security across the organization.
- Manage IT projects, overseeing the deployment of new IT systems and services, including the evaluation and procurement of IT solutions.
- Maintain disaster recovery strategies and risk management processes to mitigate IT-related risks and ensure business continuity.
- Monitor technology trends and developments, recommending upgrades and new technologies that could enhance operational effectiveness.
- Prepare and control the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and return on investment for IT expenditures.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- At least 12+ years of industry experience and since 2+ years as IT Manager.
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure management, with a strong background in designing and managing enterprise IT architecture.
- Extensive knowledge of cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), networking, virtualization, and cybersecurity technologies.
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and drive technology teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
- Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and work collaboratively with stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
Desirable Attributes:
- Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, PMP, or ITIL.
- Experience in the implementation and management of GDPR compliance and other regulatory frameworks.
- A visionary thinker with a focus on continuous improvement and leveraging technology to achieve business goals.
- Hands-on experience on below spread tools and technologies.
