We are looking for a Middle Node.js Developer to join a big project from UK. The client is a large global company with several digital retailers. It is the number one destination for shoppers who value flexible payment options. It receives over 2.2 million visits every day. The client is focused on the modernising its existing systems and platforms, utilizing a wider variety of modern, cloud-based technologies.

There are a wide range of technologies being used within the tribe. For the Chatbot squad we are looking for people with the experience in the following:
/Jest (or equivalent);
/Code Repository (Gitlab);
/Cloud environment - AWS, Azure etc (preferably AWS);
/NoSQL DB - DynamoDB, MongoDB (preferably DynamoDB);
/AWS API Gateway;
/CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins);
/experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams;
Obviously we don’t expect you to be experienced in everything listed above, we are realistic. What is important is having some of the skills, but also having ideas to bring to the table, and wanting to have an input in to how we do things, and want to pick up new skills along the way.
As a Middle Node.js Developer you’re expected:
/To help us build a young chatbot function for customers and ultimately vastly improve customers’ experience;
/Write high-quality code in NodeJS and TypeScript;
/Implement of selected solutions and integrations;
/Configure (through code/Terraform) of selected SaaS solutions; Be proactive in communication with team members and client;
/Use industry best practices of development processes & tools, adopt and improve them.
As a consultant and as a binding part between developers and our clients you are expected to develop expertise both in technology and the means to communicate complex concepts and rationale to non-techies. We’ll encourage and support this with frequent opportunities to share ideas internally. We also have consultants who frequently deliver at regional, national and global conferences.
