The Role

At Valtech, we are looking for a talented Student Assistant to join our People & Culture team in Copenhagen.

Valtech has recently decided to bring together our 4 entities in Denmark and Sweden into a single Nordics organisation. We are now more than 500 employees in the new organization and expect to grow even more. In this new set up, the priority of the P&C team is to make sure that all processes are running smoothly across the sub-region whilst providing the best possible employee experience.

This position creates a great opportunity to be part of setting up new P&C processes for the organization and supporting us on the way with related administrative tasks.

This is a student position for 15-20 hours/week.

In this role, you will be working closely with our P&C team to support them with the following tasks:

/ Setup new employees in relevant systems and plan the onboarding process with the hiring manager

/ Maintaining accurate employee data and handling change requests

/ Ensure employee information and handbooks are updated

/ Assist in the planning and execution of Valtech events, such as Kick-off, DHL run, Summer party, Julefrokost and many more

/ Other ad-hoc administrative tasks, eg. preparing monthly Townhall presentations,...

Who are you?

You are a curious, proactive person with some practical or theoretical knowledge and an interest in all aspects of P&C, who is looking for a new opportunity to start their career in P&C.

You thrive in an internally facing role as you have a people-oriented mindset and are eager to support our colleagues.

Ideally, you are:

/ A structured person with great attention to detail who enjoys getting stuff done

/ You enjoy building and maintaining structures that improve the experience for our colleagues

/ Self-engaged and show a high degree of independence as well as flexibility

/ You have ideas, and you like to share them. You see opportunities, and if you see problems, you have a couple of suggestions on how to fix them

/ You can keep track of many things at the same time, and you like that things are in order.

This position is not open to fully remote work or global relocation possibilities, but does offer the opportunity for a hybrid WFH/in-office model for local candidates.

Fluency in Danish is not a requirement but will be considered a plus.
