In your role as a Adobe Commerce / Magento Enterprise - Lead Developer, you make the impact we have on our customers measurable. You work for leading brands within the Valtech Digital commerce practice and feel at home in a challenging, international environment in which you collaborate with other experts and support them.
What you do
A seasoned professional with 6-9 years of industry experience with a spread of 3-4 years of web development experience with an emphasis on Magento enterprise platform implementations with below spread of skills.
Adobe Commerce / Magento (preferably recent versions)
High degree of PHP programming experience
JavaScript., HTML, CSS & AJAX.
Magento cloud, Integration, extension development would be Plus.
Deployment tools experience .
Leading a development team
Breaking down assigned stories into tasks, prepare query logs and perform other process activities.
Communicate across the stakeholders verbally & written.
Mentor & coach team members.
Must have done at least one enterprise level implementation of Magento.
Custom Theme development.
Integration with third party Services.
Familiarity with the SDLC and Scrum Methodologies.
Magento certification will be an added advantage.
What we ask for
Translate functional requirements from business users into sound technical designs that meet business objectives.
Provide subject matter expertise for use of the Magento platform.
Build scalable and robust e-commerce websites.
Architect and custom module.
Design and lead B2B, B2C, multi-site and multi-country, end-to-end implementations of eCommerce platforms.
Work with the infrastructure team, recommend architecture changes to improve performance and availability.
Code passionately and able to mentor the junior team members as part of execution.
Customize, develop of new extension on Magento.
Proactively offer solutions to complex technical problems.
Magento Enterprise Edition upgrade from 2.x to next
Extend Magento modules.
Analyse requirement, estimate, develop.
Produce clean, well-documented, efficient, and standards compliant code from written technical specifications.
