Six months ago we did our listening project on the spring/summer Paris Fashion Week... Now we want to see if there was anything going on in the shampoo and hair world for this fall/winter Paris Fashion Week.

We have studied 156,000 mentions on this Fashion Week, in particular the 6,400 unique mentions relative to hair. From these mentions we have extracted some interesting insights.

Louis Vuitton is the most noticed brand when we talk about hair as it is was the subject of 10.78% of hair mentions in Paris Fashion Week. Following Louis Vuitton, due to the extravagant hairstyle, Givenchy was also quite readily mentioned and was the subject of almost 10% of the mentions.

Among the hairstylists, some of the rock stars of the professions are there, with Guido Paulo getting a 62.3% of mentions thanks to his work for Vuitton and Valentino.

Regarding the hairstyles that attracted the most twitter attention during Paris Fahion Week, classic chicness came out ontop by occupying 25% of mentions and sexyness 13%. The other favourite hairstyles were rock (19%), retro (8%), and punk (7%).

Yet again, the tweets showed that blonde models were mentioned more with 33% of mentions, the public had a growing interest in redheads with 29% of mentions and that this year was a big year for the popularity for short hair as it was mentioned more times than ever with 38% of mentions.

Among the brands, Redken got the most recognition, a considerable amount ahead of some of its competitors.
