Role summary: Corporate General Ledger Accountant
Based in Sofia, and reporting to the Corporate Accounting Finance Director, you will work closely with the global and corporate finance teams in Sofia, Paris, Stockholm and London. You will be responsible for all aspects of general ledger accounting for UK and Jersey corporate entities.
What you can expect:
- Performing all GL entries for UK entities
- Month-end closing for UK & Jersey corporate entries
- Coordinating AR & AP activities
- Assisting in corporation tax and UK PAYE compliance matters
- Assisting in preparation of budget and forecasts
- 13-week cash flow forecasts
- Other ad-hoc tasks
The type of person we’d like to meet:
- Graduate-level study, preferably in finance/economics
- 3-5 years in a corporate accounting role for an international business reporting under IFRS/US GAAP
- Experience of UK corporate reporting is desirable
- ACCA qualification/part qualification desirable (study support available)
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative, good team player.
