Job Description

Purpose 
 
As a Senior Talent Partner, you are a strategic advisor, talent strategist, and data-informed decision-maker who partners with the business to shape the future workforce. In alignment with our vision to build a forward-thinking, data-led Talent Acquisition (TA) function, you will lead high-impact hiring across critical business areas, delivering proactive, insight-driven recruitment solutions. 

You will own the end-to-end hiring lifecycle; from strategic role design and market mapping to candidate engagement and experience, while building sustainable pipelines, improving processes, and driving excellence across sourcing, assessment, and employer branding. As a senior member of the TA team, you will contribute to enterprise-level initiatives, lead talent acquisition projects, and mentor team members, all while anchoring your work in data, collaboration, and innovation. 

Core Responsibilities 

Act as a trusted strategic advisor to business leaders and hiring managers, aligning hiring plans with business goals and workforce strategy. 
Lead role design, profile definition, and talent planning conversations, bringing insights from external markets and internal capability frameworks. 
Drive candidate attraction through advanced sourcing strategies, talent mapping, and the development of proactive pipelines. 
Deliver personalised, inclusive candidate experiences that reflect our EVP and support long-term engagement. 
Guide the use of assessment methodologies, including psychometrics and structured interviews, tailored to role seniority and complexity. 
Own end-to-end recruitment for a range of functions, applying commercial understanding and adaptability to prioritise across portfolios. 
Use talent intelligence and competitor insights to shape hiring decisions and regional sourcing strategies. 
Lead or contribute to TA-led strategic projects and programs; including DEI, onboarding transformation, talent tech, or early careers aligned with our future-focused TA roadmap. 
Partner with People & Culture to support internal mobility, leadership hiring, and succession planning initiatives. 
Continuously review and enhance recruitment operations and ATS usage to improve scalability, compliance, and candidate experience. 
Track and analyse individual and team KPIs, using insights to self-coach, drive improvement, and support a performance-led culture. 
Mentor and coach Talent Partners to support their development and embed best practices across the team. 
Champion and role model the TA team’s values and principles in how you lead, collaborate, and influence change.

  • You are a trusted talent advisor to senior business leaders, actively shaping hiring plans based on workforce priorities and external talent insights. 
  • You consistently deliver high-quality hires across a variety of roles and regions, with a strong focus on candidate quality, speed, and experience. 
  • You build and maintain strategic pipelines for future and critical roles, reducing time-to-hire and increasing talent readiness for key business areas. 
  • You lead with data, using KPIs, funnel analytics, and market intelligence to influence stakeholders and continuously improve recruitment strategies. 
  • You design and implement inclusive, high-impact assessment processes, including the integration of structured interviews, psychometrics, and executive evaluation frameworks. 
  • You drive meaningful progress on talent initiatives (e.g., DEI programs, process innovation, or employer brand campaigns), demonstrating clear business impact. 
  • You elevate the candidate and hiring manager experience, implementing improvements that are visible in feedback, NPS, and process efficiency. 
  • You proactively coach and develop peers, helping raise the capability and maturity of the TA function across the region. 
  • You are seen as a champion of Valtech’s values and TA principles, influencing the team culture, ways of working, and stakeholder relationships through your leadership.
