We are hiring a Strategic Account Director in the Americas to take on a pivotal role within our global Salesforce team. This role will drive strategic Salesforce initiatives across high-profile, cross-region client programs, while working closely with our Salesforce partner organization, internal platform teams, and account leadership.
This is a highly visible and influential position—ideal for a technically proficient Salesforce expert who can move seamlessly between C-level client conversations, platform roadmap planning, and hands-on workshop leadership.

The Role
This role is modeled on an existing senior leader in Europe and is designed to address a growing strategic gap in the Americas. This role is designed to address a growing strategic need in North America, with strong ties to our expanding Salesforce capabilities across Latin America. You will act as a Salesforce Subject Matter Expert (SME) and strategic advisor, helping shape the vision and roadmap for Salesforce use across a global enterprise account, while contributing to regional growth and delivery excellence.
Role Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Client Partnership
- Serve as a trusted Salesforce advisor across North America with a strong connection to Latin America for one of our most strategic global accounts, supporting CX, marketing, and commerce transformation efforts.
- Lead client workshops, stakeholder interviews, and executive briefings to define platform roadmaps and Salesforce workstream integration strategies.
- Collaborate with internal Valtech account leaders and global project teams to align Salesforce efforts with broader business transformation goals.
- Represent Valtech in Salesforce partner engagements, helping build a coordinated go-to-market motion with Salesforce’s industry teams.
Architecture & Platform Stewardship
- Act as a key advisor in shaping the Salesforce ecosystem for our clients—guiding decisions across core clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience) and connected platforms like Data Cloud and AgentForce.
- Ensure that solutions are scalable, future-proof, and aligned with both client goals and Valtech’s delivery methodology.
- Contribute to proposals, RFPs, and strategic opportunity development by providing subject matter expertise and architectural oversight.
Practice Growth & Internal Enablement
- Act as the Salesforce lead for North Americas region within Valtech’s Experience & Commerce Service Line.
- Partner with other Salesforce leaders globally to ensure consistency, knowledge sharing and capability development.
- Guide the evolution of Valtech’s Salesforce strategy in North America through internal collaboration, market insight, and ecosystem leadership.
- Contribute to team-building efforts by mentoring, hiring and driving enablements for Salesforce consultants and architects in the region.
- Bring strategic vision, entrepreneurial drive, and thrive in dynamic, fast-changing environments.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce consulting or technical leadership roles, with proven impact across large-scale enterprise programs.
- Strong functional and technical knowledge across multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing).
- Demonstrated experience leading Salesforce programs or workstreams within a multi-region, multi-brand client context.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills; comfortable leading executive workshops and translating technical vision into business value.
- Experience working with Salesforce partner teams, including joint planning and account development.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce architecture, roadmapping, and integration strategy.
- Salesforce certifications such as Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Application Architect.
- Known as a trusted collaborator by Salesforce teams; capable of influencing and aligning with Salesforce stakeholders in North America.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting large global accounts or M&A-driven platform harmonization efforts.
- Knowledge and contacts in the Salesforce ecosystem in the US and familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem in Latin America and/or Canada.
- Experience contributing to Salesforce RFPs, capability pitches, or GTM alignment efforts.
- Strong understanding of cross-cloud integrations and Salesforce’s industry-specific solutions.
- Exposure to Data Cloud, AgentForce, Experience Cloud, B2B/B2C Commerce or MuleSoft is a plus.
- Ability to travel occasionally for client workshops or global team alignment.
