Maximizing platform potential


Sanofi asked Valtech to realize their vision of creating a new and enhanced corporate website for their United Kingdom and Irish markets.

Collaboration with the Sanofi UK corporate communications team resulted in the successful renewal of two corporate websites for Sanofi UK and Sanofi Ireland. The websites are visually appealing as well as user-friendly, informative and search-optimized, fulfilling Sanofi's objectives.

Taking a multidisciplinary approach, we provided strategic direction, SEO guidance, UX and design, content development and technical implementation. Working under a tight deadline, and in close partnership with Sanofi, we built a platform that helps them effectively showcase their brand, engage with their target audiences, and achieve their digital marketing objectives. The websites are shining examples of the new Sanofi brand expression.

Strategies to improve usability

The project applied insights and analytics to understand the performance of the two corporate sites and their content. Keywords were also mapped and implemented on strategic pages and in metadata.


The redesign of selected core pages tapped into the versatility and vigor of the new Sanofi identity guidelines. Integrated in the redesign was a rethinking of call-to-action buttons and cross-linking of content. This resulted in improved user flows.

Elevating content and brand expression

With a new brand identity often comes a new brand voice. Valtech’s copywriters updated Sanofi’s brand voice and brand messaging in key areas of the site to strengthen the brand expression.


To manage the flexibility of the CMS, our certified Magnolia content managers created page and component templates before implementation. This ensured quality and reduced the amount of time spent on setting up the components.

Valtech took the time to really understand our digital objectives and adopted a multidisciplinary approach with key experts across SEO, UX and design, content development and technical implementation. They delivered two exceptional corporate websites which showcase our new brand and purpose, are user friendly and visually appealing under a very tight timeframe.
