The role
Valtech is looking for someone to join our team as Full Stack Web Engineer (with Angular) who is organized, proactive, and driven to build technical solutions across a portfolio of client accounts. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, designing and maintaining web applications, and ensuring seamless integration between user-facing and server-side components.
Role responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Applications: Design, develop, and maintain fully functional web applications, ensuring they are responsive and user-friendly.
- Front-End Development: Create user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or NgRx to enhance user experience).
- Back-End Development: Build server-side applications and APIs using languages such as JavaScript (Spring Boot, Node), Postman, and manage database interactions with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to define and implement new features and functionalities.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Version Control: Utilize version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration with other developers.
- Staying up to date on current technology and software
Must have qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Must be available to work 8:30 am – 4:30 pm cst Monday – Friday
- Strong capability in Angular, particularly in NgRx
- Experience with Ionic is useful
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to comfortably communicate with clients and colleagues at a variety of levels
- Ability to work independently, provide solutions, and set own priorities.
- Highly detailed-oriented
- Ability to synthesize data into insights
- Ability to solve problems independently
Nice to have qualifications
- Experience in a consulting organization, specifically tech consulting
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or software engineering
