The role
build robust, performant and high-quality backend solutions to support different kind of applications, by following the technical design and best practices

- Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus)
Role responsibilities
- Participate in the whole project lifecycle (Analysis, Design, Construction and Support phases)
- Participate in development conventions and standards definition work together with other teams in order to improve software quality at all levels (Devops, Architecture, Quality Assurance, Business Analysis)
- Help junior level teammates to develop their skills improve current code quality by continuous refactor, unit testing and monitoring code quality metrics participate in agile ceremonies (Daily meetings, Planning Retrospective)
- Participate in user stories estimations participate in the code review process
Must have qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Strong Experience building Java EE web applications. Strong Experience working with some MVC oriented framework (Spring MVC, JSF, Vaadin, etc).
- Strong experience working with Object Oriented Design principles and design patterns.
- Experience working with relational databases (MySql, SQL Server, Oracle, etc) and ORM's (Hibernate, Spring Data).
- Experience with non-relational databases is a plus. Experience with some cloud provider (e.g.: Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure).
- Experience working with microservices architectures is a plus. Source code versioning using Git (Gitflow).
- Experience with Java 8+ features (Stream API, Optionals, Futures)
- Experience with Spring framework (Core, Boot, Security, Data, Cloud Config, Web, Acurator) -
- Experience with data model definitions and ORM's (Hibernate, JPA, Spring Data) - Strong experience with Rest Api's - Experience with Testing (Unit Testing, Wiremock, Mockito, TDD)
