The ideal candidate's skills
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce (Demandware)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with SFRA
- Understanding of APIs and experience integrating third-party systems
- Familiarity with e-commerce concepts and challenges
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices, caching strategies, performance optimization, and security
- Proficiency in using version control tools like Git
- Upper-intermediate English level or higher
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Accountability, collaboration, and time-management skills
- Strong desire to learn more about business every day.
Optional:
- Salesforce B2C Commerce Architect certification (a big plus!)
- Experience with TypeScript and Node.js
- Knowledge of React.js and Composable Storefront (PWA Kit)
The role
As a Senior Salesforce B2C Commerce Engineer within our organization you will design, develop, and deliver robust e-commerce solutions for leading global brands. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and directly with the client’s team to ensure high-quality outcomes. You will:
- Develop and maintain new and existing features on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform
- Collaborate with the client, your team, and the Project Manager to fully understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring efficient and bug-free code
- Maintain high-quality documentation for all development activities
- Report progress and potential challenges clearly to the Project Manager.
As a consultant you are expected to develop expertise both in technology and in communicating complex concepts and rationale to non-techies. We’ll encourage and support this with frequent opportunities to share ideas internally and externally. Join us to build the future of digital commerce!
