The role
As a Valtech Talent, you’ll join one of our technology capabilities, be assigned a mentor, and work alongside consultants, developers, designers, testers, and other experts to build high-quality software for our clients.
Available roles include Fullstack Developer, CloudOps Engineer, and Quality Assurance.
We know the world of software development can be both exciting and demanding. That’s why we created a Talent Development Plan designed to equip you with all the knowledge and tools you need to succeed.
Throughout the program, you’ll explore topics such as:
- Agile Methodologies – Learn Agile principles, collaboration practices, and software development best practices that help teams work smarter.
- AI & Productivity – Discover how to integrate Artificial Intelligence into your workflow. You’ll explore AI-assisted development, automation tools, and effective prompting techniques to boost creativity and productivity.
- Front-End Technologies – Master web development fundamentals with HTML, CSS (including Tailwind CSS), JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Back-End Technologies – Gain hands-on experience with Node.js to build robust, scalable server-side applications.
- Modern Frameworks – Dive into React and Next.js to create high-performing, dynamic web applications.
- CloudOps Fundamentals – Get hands-on with cloud platforms and DevOps tools, learning how to automate, monitor, and maintain reliable and scalable environments.
- Software Quality & Performance – Learn to ensure quality through unit testing and automation, and optimize performance using Core Web Vitals and tools like Debug Bear.
Your Journey at Valtech
After your initial training, you’ll join Agile Scrum teams to design, build, and test real web applications. You’ll experience the full software development cycle and collaborate across disciplines and regions.
We value continuous learning and personal growth, so you’ll have a tailored development path to strengthen your technical, business, and interpersonal skills while discovering the different technology and business areas across Valtech.
Must have qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Flexibility and good time management skills.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Availability to start in November.
