Valtech brings in former VELUX profile to expand the international growth within Data, Analysis and eCommerce
August 18, 2021
On July 1st, 2021, Sven-Eric Nilsson took up the position as International Growth Director at Valtech_eCapacity. With Valtech's acquisition of eCapacity at the beginning of the year, the global digital agency took a strong strategic step to expand their expertise within data, analytics and eCommerce strategy. Sven-Eric ‘s new role is to ensure that this step has a strong foothold internationally.
Most recently Sven-Eric Nilsson came from a position as VP eBusiness & eCommerce at VELUX and he also spent 15 years in SAS and 2 years as CEO of Stylepit (part of BESTSELLER). Sven-Eric thus comes with a broad experience in both B2B, D2C and B2C eCommerce. He is also well-versed with international companies and can hit the ground running to help ensure the international expansion within data, analysis and eCommerce, with both existing and new Valtech clients.
“Sven-Eric’s international and strategic experience within digitization and especially data & analytics as well as ecommerce, means that he understands the challenges our clients face. In the long run, the task will be to ensure the international expansion within especially Valtech_eCapacity's 3 service lines, Analytics & Data, Martech & CDP and Management Consulting. Part of the work also lies in aligning internally in Valtech with the local offices that work with our large international clients on a daily basis. I am very excited to have a player like Sven-Eric on board and I look very much forward to the cooperation and to reaping the benefits of the international perspective that Valtech facilitates, "says Per Rasmussen, Managing Director, Valtech_eCapacity
Valtech has made no secret of its ambitions for growth, with the acquisition of eCapacity and the recent investment from BC Partners as two clear examples. That is why Sven-Eric also sees an exciting future at the global digital agency.
"I think, the constellation in Valtech_eCapacity and Valtech and the journey Valtech is on is extremely interesting. That I can bring my 35 years of experience with digital business at large Danish companies into play globally to now help large international companies reach their customers through data and analysis, in close collaboration with Valtech, has been a trigger point for me. I know the challenges companies face on a daily basis in their quest to reach customers digitally and that I can now bring it into play on a larger international stage motivates me a lot - not to mention the new capital injection Valtech has received from BC Partners. It is a really exciting future and I look forward to using my skills to help our clients,” says Sven-Eric Nilsson
BC Partners recently invested in Valtech, which fuels growth and expansion globally (ref. pressemeddelelse 13/7).
