The role
As a Booking Analyst, you will contribute to operational excellence within Valtech’s Americas Regional Operations organization. You will support end-to-end bookings governance and act as a daily partner to Demand Management to ensure accuracy, predictability, and quality in project bookings.
You will contribute to decision-making, implement scalable processes, and support the team through ongoing operational changes, supporting Valtech’s shift toward more centralized, insight-driven bookings practices.
Key responsibilities
- Create, update, and manage resource assignments in the system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review and monitor tasks to ensure consistency between projects, resources, and timeline
- Bookings for Budget Governance: Review approved Budget Governance tickets and assign or adjust bookings accordingly, leveraging capacity when resources are not yet named.
- Confirm Bookings for Capacity or TA-Fulfilled Roles: Ensure timely replacement of placeholders with named resources as soon as roles are staffed via Capacity or TA.
- Timesheet Governance: Oversee and audit timesheet closure when projects end or resources roll off.
- Leavers Review: Ensure no active or future bookings remain for exited employees.
Must have qualifications
- Advanced English and Portuguese
- Intermediate Excel skills (filters, tables, formulas).
- Proactive and solution-oriented.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Comfortable handling system errors and investigating issues thoroughly.
- Basic understanding of project management concepts (timelines, resource allocation, workload management).
- Experience working in structured or PMO-driven environments.
- Experience managing operational or project-related data.
- Ticketing system experience (Jira preferrable)
Nice to have qualifications
- Spanish
- Experience working with Suite Projects Pro (SPP) or similar project management platforms.
