Your Opportunity:

As a Senior Experience Designer you’re a hands-on maker who will play a key role in conceptualising, building, presenting, and delivering visually compelling and functionally rich digital solutions for household-name companies.

You turn research into elegant, accessible solutions; you collaborate deeply with product, data and engineering; and you occasionally coach juniors with or without formal people management. You bring 6+ years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

To be successful in the role you will need to be a digital native who thrives in delivering aesthetic design to digital transformation programs. Your portfolio of digital work will need to reflect your capability to work on complex, scalable digital solutions spanning Web, Mobile, and connected experiences. 

For this role, it is essential that you have built your experience in a similar environment to Valtech – a Digital Transformation Consultancy or Digital Agency, delivering solutions that blend creative design, technical heavy lifting and Data / AI capability.

Your Role:

  • Apply your extensive experience in design thinking methodologies (e.g. Double Diamond)
  • Frame problems, explore, define, and deliver high-quality experiences.
  • Use modern tools(e.g. AI) in your favour to synthesis research & conceptualise – responsibly.
  • Bake accessibility and inclusive practices in all decisions and not as an afterthought.
  • Create meaningful IA, customer journeys, user flows with business goals.
  • Craft excellence in creating customer interaction & motion design.
  • Turn insights into outcomes: prototype, test and iterate with clear business objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Strategy, Product, Data and Engineering.
  • Design for cross-cultural: understanding the APAC nuances, localising flows & content.

Experience and Expertise

  • A portfolio of work with measurable client impact. Your portfolio of digital work will need to reflect your capability to work on complex, scalable digital solutions spanning Web, Mobile, and connected experiences.
  • Human-centred design dept across research, interaction, UI, content & service design.
  • Proven accessibility & inclusive design practice. (e.g WCAG/A11y)
  • Fluency in modern tools: Figma, Miro, prototyping & practical chops with AI design tools.
  • Design Systems/DesignOps experience, from governance to component quality.
  • A great communicator with clear succinct communication with execs and teams.
  • Bias to action in ambiguous spaces; you balance speed with craft to ship the right thing.
  • At least 6 years in experience/UX/product/Service design(Consulting or product).
  • Familiar with research platforms (e.g. Maze, UserTesting)
