Our client had a fragmented digital estate that slowed content activation and weakened their ability to serve advisors and investors across global markets.

In an industry where insight speed drives growth and client retention, legacy tools and siloed workflows raise costs and create risk. Valtech built a unified content ecosystem that restores agility, reduces operational drag and positions our client for sustained digital growth.

The need for change

Global financial asset manager

Our client, an independent financial asset management company that serves some of the world’s largest funds, has a wealth of content they use to build credibility, increase customer engagement and arm their clients with the most insightful, up-to-date financial information.

But a fragmented digital presence meant they struggled to reuse content across different audiences. Disconnected tools and siloed workflows were hindering digital performance, scalability and collaboration across teams.

They sought to solve this by replacing their legacy on-premise CMS — which was unstable, hard to maintain and not aligned with group-wide standards — with a cloud-based alternative that could:

  • Reduce content management costs
  • Enhance platform stability
  • Improve operational efficiency
  • Enable content reuse across global markets
  • Increase digital engagement with financial advisors and investors

With multiple entities within the organization already using Adobe solutions, there was a strategic push to align the business and consolidate tools by choosing Adobe as the CMS and the backbone of a broader digital ecosystem.

Our client also sought to streamline content operations, standardize client experiences globally, and integrate additional Adobe tools, like DAM, Target and Analytics, as well as their Salesforce CRM.

Transformation through DXP consolidation

Valtech has been a trusted partner to this client since 2023, strategically positioning Adobe as a core element of their digital ecosystem.

We continued that work here, implementing Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service as the new foundation for our client’s digital presence. The platform integrates Adobe Analytics for data-driven insights and Salesforce CRM to capture leads and deliver personalized journeys.

It’s a powerful and scalable DXP that:

  • Manages thousands of pages across 25-plus countries
  • Supports critical applications like fund management tools
  • Includes a personalized client portal to enhance user experience and generate leads.

Our team oversaw a seamless content migration, facilitated translation workflows and established new ways of working across the organization.

Strategy and support to guarantee success

From early discovery workshops to implementation, we worked closely with our client in a multi-agency environment to provide strategic consulting, training and change management support.

During the discovery phase, for example, we ran intensive in-person sessions followed by regular weekly client engagements to facilitate deep alignment and ongoing support post-launch.

We also provided support throughout the Adobe integration, including process optimization and CMS training to get their team familiar with the new solution.

Our back-end team continues to support the client, ensuring operational continuity and knowledge transfer.

Results

By placing Adobe at the center of our client's digital experience, we delivered a future-proof, data-driven platform that unlocks their ability to serve content to clients around the world.

Compared to the previous on-premise setup:

  • The cloud-based CMS is significantly more stable and scalable.
  • It offers a standardized experience for client segments with similar needs, lowering content maintenance costs.
  • It is much easier to manage, meaning our client has been able to reduce developer headcount by more than 50%.

Ultimately, the shift has helped this client consolidate their tech stack, simplify operations and future-proof their digital presence. Just ask the fund manager’s CMS editors, who report that publishing content across markets and languages is now significantly easier and more intuitive.
