The role  

Located in Stockholm, and reporting to the Head of Group Reporting of the Valtech Group, you will be part of the group reporting team within Stockholm and Sofia .

As a Consolidation assistant, you will provide support to the subsidiaries' finance departments during the closing process and play an important role in system issues related to consolidation. Your tasks will include setting up new users, periods, exchange rates, etc. in the Hyperion consolidation system, as well as being responsible for intercompany reconciliation. You will assist your team colleagues and have the opportunity to continue developing within group accounting and financial reporting.

 

Role responsibilities

The role will span a wide range of working tasks, and you will:

    • Support subsidiaries with the Hyperion consolidation system
    • Managing Hyperion
    • Communication and follow-up of reporting deadlines
    • Responsible for calculating and invoicing management fees
    • Responsible for intercompany reconciliation
    • Documentation for IT audits
    • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports

 

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should meet the following essential qualifications: 

  • You have at least 1 year of work experience in accounting. We would like to see that you have handled relatively complex accounting tasks such as participation in financial statements, intercompany transactions/consolidated accounts, or have knowledge of IFRS.
  • As a person, you are responsible, thorough, and independent but at the same time you appreciate collaborating and being part of a team where you contribute to the collegial atmosphere. Furthermore, you are communicative, educative and appreciate sharing your knowledge.
  • You are experienced, quick to learn, and have a keen interest in systems.
  • The role requires English Proficiency, and you are attracted by the possibility to work in an international environment with many points of contacts.
