The role  

As a Associate Digital Consultant, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 2 of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

Role responsibilities

  • Support senior consultants in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements. 
  • Assist in defining and documenting new processes for product content, data management, and eCommerce operations. 
  • Participate in workshops and client discussions, ensuring clarity of needs and requirements. 
  • Conduct data cleansing and transformation activities to support product migration and optimization. 
  • Configure basic software settings (e.g., field mappings, configuration parameters) under guidance from senior team members. 
  • Prepare reports and insights using advanced Excel (index/match, power query, macros) or similar tools. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery. 
  • Maintain project documentation and support governance activities. 
  • Ensure deliverables are completed on time and to the quality standards expected. 

 

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: 

  • 1–2 years of experience in eCommerce, consulting, or business analysis (experience with enterprise accounts is an asset). 
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Optimizely, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, VTEX, SAP Commerce Cloud, etc. 
  • Exposure to content management and product information management (PIM) practices (e.g., Akeneo, inRiver, Salsify). 
  • Understanding of product content best practices. 
  • Ability to create and document new processes clearly and effectively. 
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. 
  • Comparative technical abilities in one or more of the following: 
  • Lite software configuration (field settings, attributes, workflows). 
  • Data cleansing or transformation (Excel, SQL, or ETL tools). 
  • Basic understanding of database concepts. 
  • Proficiency in Excel (index/match, power query, macros) or equivalent tools. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex ideas into clear documentation. 
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Team-oriented mindset with willingness to learn from senior consultants and grow into a consulting role. 
  • Knowledge of SEO, analytics, or product taxonomy structures (an asset). 
  • Fluent in English.
  • Positive attitude and diplomatic communication style. 
  • University degree in eCommerce, IT, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. 
  • Knowledge of retail, B2C, B2B, and D2C.
