Valtech FP&A team is dedicated to transforming financial data into actionable intelligence, ensuring that company’s leadership can seize opportunities for growth while maintaining financial health and stability. Valtech is looking for an FP&A Analyst. A day in the life of a FP&A Analyst 

As aFP&A Analyst, you are the bridge between the row data and the decision-making process.  

Role responsibilities

  • Analyze revenue trends, key performance indicators, and variances to support financial planning activities
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly consolidated reports by gathering, validating, and analyzing regional financial inputs
  • Collaborate with subregional FP&A and data analytics teams to deliver timely, accurate revenue analyses
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of revenue data across all reporting platforms
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on system updates or reporting improvements under guidance from the FP&A leadership team
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process and periodic re-forecasts by collecting and consolidating financial data from different regions and functions
  • Review and validate regional financial submissions to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to group standards
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions
  • Participate in process improvement discussions and assist with implementing best practices

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: 

  • 2+ years of FP&A experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to prepare quality financial analysis (variance analysis, scenario modelling)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Planning, budgeting and forecasting skills
  • Experience in a global or multi-national company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent English 

Nice to have qualifications  

  • Experience with financial systems such as Oracle, HFM and FP&A tools - Planful
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and present complex data in a clear, compelling way
  • Track record of process improvement and automation in FP&A workflows
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional and cross-border teams
  • Passion for continuous learning and keeping up with industry trends
