The role
We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Solutions Architect to join our team and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our technology solutions.
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and implementation of complex, scalable, and secure digital experience systems. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with a talented team on cutting-edge projects, directly impacting the success of our clients and the growth of our organization. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior architects, lead architectural decisions for the solutions we make, and influence the overall architectural direction of the company.
Role responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of complex, enterprise-level digital experience solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements, technical standards, and best practices.
- Act as a sparring partner to clients and support in setting strategic direction of the client’s architectural roadmap.
- Proactively propose innovative solutions both internally and on the client side to drive value and address business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, engineering, operations) throughout the entire solution lifecycle, from initial concept to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Develop comprehensive architectural documentation, including ADDs, diagrams, specifications, and presentations, clearly communicating complex technical designs to both technical and non-technical audiences. Be able to present to Architecture Boards at the clients’ side.
- Conduct thorough technical feasibility studies, identify potential risks and challenges, and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews to more junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, proactively recommending innovative solutions to enhance our offerings and improve efficiency.
- Participate actively in pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal development, and responding to RFPs/RFIs.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, performant, and maintainable, adhering to established architectural standards and guidelines.
- Contribute to the evolution and drive the improvement of our architectural standards, processes, and best practices by working with and in our craft circles.
Must have qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale solutions.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience delivering content management and/or digital experience solutions from inception to production.
- High-level knowledge of CMS platforms, frontend development, and commerce solutions.
- Familiarity with composable architectures, and the judgment to know when to apply (or not apply) them.
- Knowledge of and experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, project bootstrap and maintenance, and release management.
- Experience working in global teams spanning multiple locations (e.g., Nordics, Nearshore, Offshore).
- Proven ability to co-create effectively with clients and foster strong collaboration.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills—ability to translate complex technical topics for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within diverse teams.
- Flexibility to work on-site in and around Copenhagen a few times a week.
Nice to have qualifications
- Experience with monorepos and/or feature flags.
- Experience working with distributed global teams - both internally and on the client side.
- Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Composable Architect (MACH Alliance), or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect are highly valued.
