Technical Pre-Sales & Marketing Engineer – Connected Mobility


Valtech Mobility is seeking a dynamic and proactive Technical Pre-Sales and Marketing Engineer to support its Connected Mobility Platform business in the India/Asia Pacific region. This individual will play a crucial role in engaging with prospective clients, understanding their technical requirements, and effectively communicating the value proposition of our connected mobility solutions. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strong communication and interpersonal skills to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

As our Technical Pre-Sales & Marketing Engineer – Connected Mobility, you will:

  • Collaborate with the BD team to identify and actively engage with prospective customers to understand their needs and requirements in the technical manner
  • Develop and maintain sales tools, including presentations, demo environments, and competitive analysis materials.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, functionality, and benefits of our platform.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales process, addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Customize product offerings to align with client-specific requirements and use cases.
  • Develop marketing collateral, including whitepapers, case studies, and presentations, to promote our connected mobility platform.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and events to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
  • Identify market trends and competitor activities to inform product positioning and go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative marketing initiatives and drive business growth.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, advocating for customer requirements and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Continuously enhance technical knowledge of our platform and related technologies to effectively address customer inquiries and challenges.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback and insights from customer interactions, contributing to the evolution of our product offerings.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering – Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in technical pre-sales, marketing, or business development roles within the technology industry, preferably in the mobility sector.
  • Strong understanding of connected mobility solutions, including IoT, telematics, vehicle connectivity, and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their needs and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for innovation and driving business growth.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support sales activities and attend industry events.
