The Role  

As a Senior Front-End Support Engineer, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 4-6 Years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact. 

You will thrive in this role if you are:

  • Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) 

Role Responsibilities

  • Incident Management: Act as a senior point of contact for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving high-priority production incidents impacting our front-end applications, ensuring quick restoration of service.
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Perform in-depth analysis of recurring issues and collaborate with development teams to implement permanent fixes and preventative measures.
  • Process Adherence: Strictly adhere to defined ITIL/Support processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Back-End Engineers, QA, and Product Managers, to manage and deploy hotfixes.
  • Documentation: Maintain and update knowledge base articles, runbooks, and support documentation to improve team efficiency.

  • Must have qualifications
  1. Technical Expertise
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a Front-End Development or Senior Production Support role.
  • Deep expertise in core front-end technologies: JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Must have strong proficiency with modern Vue-based frameworks, specifically:
    Vue.js (Component architecture, State Management, Routing).
    Nuxt.js (Experience with SSR/SSG concepts and Nuxt architecture is highly desirable).
  • Experience working within an eCommerce platform environment, understanding the common challenges and performance requirements.
  • Basic understanding of API communication and concepts (e.g., REST, GraphQL), and the ability to troubleshoot API call failures from a front-end perspective.
  1. Support & Process Skills
  • Demonstrable expertise in troubleshooting complex application issues in a live production environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Support processes (ITIL Foundation concepts like Incident, Problem, and Change Management are highly valued).
  • Experience with browser debugging tools, network monitoring, and application performance monitoring (APM) tools.
  • Desirable Skills (Nice to Have)
  • Familiarity with JIRA for task tracking, bug reporting, and project management.
  • Experience utilizing ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems for incident and request logging.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles related to front-end deployment and caching strategies.
