Valtech appoints Gijs Vlaander Managing Director of Valtech Netherlands

Utrecht, Netherlands — Valtech has appointed Gijs Vlaander as Managing Director of Valtech Netherlands, marking the next stage in the company’s continued growth.

Vlaander succeeds Eric Verhage, who led the organization for more than two years and oversaw a period of significant transformation. During that time, Valtech Netherlands strengthened its focus on digital innovation, experience design and change management, positioning the business for future expansion. 

In 2025, Valtech Netherlands welcomed new clients including Bidfood, Eriks, The Greenery and Sani/Ikos Group, reflecting growing demand for digital commerce, sales and service platforms, as well as data- and AI-driven solutions. 

“We’ve spent the past few years strengthening the organization and preparing it for the future,” Verhage says. “I’m proud of what the team has achieved and confident that Gijs and the leadership team will continue building on that momentum.” 

A strong team for the future 

Alongside Vlaander’s appointment, Valtech Netherlands is strengthening its leadership team 

  • Vincent van Hellemondt will lead New Business, driving continued commercial growth. 
  • Dennis Houtzager will oversee Delivery & Operations, focusing on quality, scalability and operational excellence. 
  • Elise Rosenkötter, who joined from PwC, serves as Finance Director. 
  • Debby van Brouwershaven continues to lead People & Culture, supporting talent development and the company’s entrepreneurial culture.
