The role
As a Legal Counsel, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 2 years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact in legal support, contract administration, or compliance.

- Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus)
Role responsibilities
- Manage legal operations tools, including JIRA, PowerForms for NDAs (DocuSign), SharePoint, and a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
- Draft, review, and organize various legal documents, including commercial agreements and NDAs.
- Review and negotiate NDAs with clients, suppliers, and partners, under the guidance of legal counsel.
- Write meeting minutes, draft corporate resolutions, and help maintain company records.
- Support eDiscovery efforts in litigation matters and assist with document production.
- Organize and maintain legal documentation, including contract databases, legal mail, and notice tracking.
- Conduct due diligence on employment agreements, client contracts, and M&A documentation.
- Assist in maintaining government and regulatory registrations for Valtech’s entities in the region.
- Collaborate with the global legal team (20+ colleagues) and support the General Counsel’s Office in the Americas on legal initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Contribute to legal innovation by supporting new technologies, automation projects, and process improvements within the legal department.
Must have qualifications
- To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- You are currently pursuing or have completed a technical or undergraduate program in legal support, law, or a related field in Argentina or Colombia.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Spanish and/or French are strong assets.
- You have a strong interest in technology, innovation, and the legal tech landscape.
- You are eager to learn and contribute across a wide range of legal activities, including contracts, corporate governance, litigation support, and compliance.
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with precision and autonomy.
- You are proficient with Office 365, and ideally familiar with tools like JIRA, SharePoint, DocuSign, or CLM platforms.
- You are comfortable working in a multicultural and collaborative international environment.
- You are a native Spanish speaker.
Nice to have qualifications
- Experience in a law firm or in-house legal department is an asset.
- Technology consulting experience is a plus.
