The role  

As a Data Engineer, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 5 of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

  • Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) 

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: 

  • Data engineer with extensive experience in analytical modeling and data integration process design.
  • At least 5 years of experience in BI/DW.
  • At least 5 years of experience and strong knowledge developing complex SQL queries (SQL Server 2016 or higher, PL/SQL 11g or higher).
  • At least 4 years of experience in ETL processes integrating diverse heterogeneous sources (structured and unstructured data), required tools, SSIS (2010+).
  • Experience developing best practices for data model component design.
  • Knowledge building data access layers through cubes, data marts, and APIs.
  • At least 1 year of experience with cloud tools (Fabric, Azure Synapse, Analytics, Data Factory, or similar).
  • Knowledge of analytical tools (preferably MicroStrategy/Strategy and Power BI).
  • Experience with relational and dimensional modeling. Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL (preferably Informix/Oracle/MSSQL).
  • Experience with large databases (Data Warehousing techniques).
  • Certification(s) within the Data Engineer role.

Nice to have qualifications  

  • Knowledge of IBM Informix
    Knowledge and experience with table partitioning and large database maintenance
  • Experience with database upgrades and ETL tools
  • Experience with Python and/or R
  • Experience with SAP BI/BW
  • Experience with continuous integration processes, CI/CD
  • Experience with Git tools such as Azure DevOps, Github, or others
  • Experience with data quality control
  • Experience using Data Lakes
  • Experience developing Pipelines and Data Flows with Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and/or Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Experience managing relational or non-relational databases in Azure
  • Experience with Data Governance
  • Experience with Kibana and Grafana
