The Role
As a Cloud OCI Administrator, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 6+ years of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact.

Role & Responsibilities:
OCI Infrastructure Management
- Provision, configure, and manage Compute, Block Volumes, File Storage, Object Storage, and Networking components in OCI.
- Manage VCNs, subnets, DRGs, routing, NSGs, and load balancers.
- Oversee OCI tenancy structure, regions, compartments, and resource organization.
Security, Compliance & Governance
- Implement and maintain IAM policies, dynamic groups, users, and federated access.
- Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices and organizational guidelines.
- Configure Vault, KMS, WAF, Cloud Guard, and Security Zones.
Monitoring & Operations
- Configure and maintain OCI Monitoring, Logging, Notifications, Events, and Alarms.
- Manage backup strategies, snapshots, disaster recovery, and cross-region replication.
- Monitor resource utilization, performance, and cost; optimize spending using OCI Cost Management tools.
Automation & DevOps Support
- Automate infrastructure management using Terraform, Ansible, or OCI CLI.
- Support CI/CD teams for environment provisioning and cloud deployments.
- Manage Marketplace images, custom images, and OS patching for compute instances.
Troubleshooting & Support
- Provide support for cloud infrastructure issues.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Coordinate with Oracle support for SR creation and resolution.
Documentation & Collaboration
- Maintain updated documentation on cloud setup, policies, and procedures.
- Work with development, security, and network teams to ensure smooth cloud operations.
Must Have
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field is typically required.
- 6–8+ years of cloud administration experience; 3+ years in OCI preferred.
- Strong knowledge of OCI networking, compute, storage, and security services.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform / IaC.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience with monitoring, backup strategies, and cost optimization.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications
- OCI certifications (Architect Associate/Professional, Operations Associate).
- Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.
- Knowledge of VPN, FastConnect, and on-prem integration.
