The role
As a Product Owner, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring +5 YEARS of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact. You'll be the main strategist connection within information technology capacity and client business objectives. You'll oversee the support and successful creation of the product strategy, product roadmap, and product requirements, while guiding the team in developing the product.

Role responsibilities
- Being responsible for creating and maintaining close relationships with the main stakeholders.
- Engage the teamwork and client’s main profiles to make things happen, with excellent planning skills, communication and commitment.
- Being in charge in all stages of a project, from discovery to post implementation support, facilitating collaboration between the business, the strategy, the design of the experience and the technology to provide a clear understanding of the product.
- Defining product strategy, obtaining stakeholder input on Business Vision, Business Environment, Strategic Objectives, and Business Roadmap, setting the product long-term and near-term vision. To build product strategic plan.
- Being in charge in planning and maintaining product roadmap: create high-level visual roadmap that maps out the vision and direction of the product (single vs multi-product roadmap); create release plan; maintain & reprioritize roadmap; confirm product roadmap with business stakeholders; create the agile/sprint roadmap/internal roadmap (use primarily with your dev team and the client's PO).
- Defining product requirements: document needs, requests, & demands from various constituents; turn research findings & needs into technical product specification; evaluate and prioritize features against strategic goals and initiative; define the MVP; alter product requirements based on the user inputs/feedback after each deployment; backlog refinement & prioritization.
- Lead product development: writing User stories (based on the Product Requirement Document); creating and maintaining a product backlog, planning Sprints and set goals; accepting user stories or product features (UAT, sign off), writing release notes in collaboration with Engineering team and Client.
- Review and monitor project metrics: analyzing data and insights to understand the success of the product and create performance report.
- Collaborate with the team to accurately estimate work efforts.
- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies and team meetings.
- Monitor and track project scope progress against time and resources consumed.
- Approve and sign off on development deliverables for production release.
- Proactively identify, report, and escalate issues while providing actionable recommendations to the product team.
Must have qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- 5+ years in Product Ownership/Product Management.
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, artifacts, and ceremonies.
- Best practices driven.
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering complex digital products with measurable business impact.
- Team management experience.
- Analytical mindset and excellent organization skills.
- Being proactive and hands on.
- Continuous improvement oriented.
- Eager to learn and challenge each day aiming to reach team's goals.
- Advanced proficiency in English and native Spanish.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Computer Science, Electronics is highly required.
Nice to have qualifications
- Experience with Scaled Agile or SAFe is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps is also beneficial.
- Knowledge of UX / UI / Design Thinking (desirable).
