Becoming data driven is a continuous process and you need to be able to embed the data way of working into the DNA of your business.  Setting up a structured data framework is a multifaceted process that requires you to think about tooling, data management & governance, new processes and your organisation/ team in a process of continuous improvement.

  
2. Learn how to make the data work for you

Now, more than ever, you need to be able to better understand and predict the intent of your customers. You need to deliver highly personalised experiences across the full customer journey and you need to make sure you’re continuously measuring impact and ROI. You also need to be thinking about privacy by design - how to comply with the latest data and privacy legislation.  

  
3. Becoming Data Driven is a Journey

Remember the data journey is a pipeline: Collect, Ingest, Clean and Visualise. Take a lean approach; you can achieve great things with minimal investment in the early stages but you need to make sure you understand the baseline, can identify the opportunities and then set realistic goals. Constantly review and recalibrate and don’t try to build for the end goals right away. Take a small slice and iterate.
