What will you be doing?
As a Java Engineer, you will play a key role in building world-class platforms for international market leaders:
- You will collaborate within an agile framework, contributing to Java-based web applications' development from conception to implementation
- Drive technical design, participate in internal quality assurance, and maintain project documentation
- Engage closely with customers throughout project phases, supporting technical enhancements within the team.
From the first days at Valtech, you will be assigned to the SAP Commerce Cloud onboarding program developed by our team.
What do we expect from you?
- At least 3 years of Java development experience
- Experience in developing microservice architecture
- Experience with e-commerce projects
- Experience with an enterprise e-commerce platform (eg: HCL/Websphere Commerce, Oracle/ATG Commerce, Adobe Commerce/Magento, commerce tools)
- Experience in Spring, SpringBoot, Design patterns, simple design and RESTful Services
- Comfortable with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with tools like JUnit or Mockito complements your development expertise
- Proficiency in Spring ecosystem, databases, web service development and CI/CD tools
- Fluent in English for effective international communication
- Familiarity with web technologies, unit and integration testing, version control tools, and cloud-based technologies
