Automotive & Connected Mobility - Technology Leader

Mandatory Experience:

Ability to architect and design/implement solutions (PoCs) and execute technical spikes to validate architecture solutions.

Ability to articulate architecture-level decisions with rationale with key stakeholders and development teams.

Strong experience in solution/application architecture that involves designing scalable, maintainable, and performant solutions.

Experience in developing and designing Webservices and microservices-based solutions.

Strong experience in designing cloud-native solutions with any one of the cloud platforms – AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Designing containerized systems with interoperability and over-the-air updates capability.

Create architectural solutions at an Enterprise level, aligned with business goals and technical requirements.

Design and implement security compliances to protect automotive data.

Run the architecture refactoring workshops with the development team.

Build reference architectures in the mobility domain, with a focus on reusable solution building blocks and scalable connected solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure, industry-compliant connected mobility solutions, especially in coordination with OEMs or service providers.

Foundational Experience:

Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts on Prioritization and Release Plans.

Review design approaches and pull requests.

Ability to apply and guide teams on Agile engineering practices during design workshops – whiteboarding, class diagrams/object interactions, domain relationships, ASRs, ASDs mappings, etc.

Describe architecture using UML / C4 Model / industry-endorsed notations via documentation tools like Wikis and MD files.

Experience in applying design principles – GRASP, SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, etc.

Experience in designing/reviewing test suites for NFRs, scalability, and performance requirements.

Experience in conducting live debug sessions with development teams on Java profiling.

Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes relevant to the automotive industry and aligned with connected solution goals.

Desired Experience:

Strong background in working with Automotive OEMs with a proven track record in developing and deploying connected mobility solutions.

Experience in stakeholder engagement with OEMs, understanding their strategy, timelines, and customizing solutions to align with their technical and commercial goals.

Experience delivering complex automotive projects with consulting and end-to-end client engagement.

Past experience in deploying IoT solutions across industries, preferably with exposure to the Indian automotive market.

Demonstrated ability to support Business Development/Sales teams with technical insights and architecture-level clarity.

Familiarity with designing mobile-first development guidelines for connected vehicle applications.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

A technologist with deep domain understanding and implementation experience in the automotive sector, especially with OEMs.

Able to translate strategic OEM objectives into robust technical solutions with confidence-inspiring delivery.

Strong collaborator who aligns technology architecture with business strategy and product roadmaps.

Cherry on Top:

Architecture-level certifications such as TOGAF, IASA Architect CITA-F (Foundation), or equivalent.
