The Opportunity 

We are seeking a New Business Director to lead and scale new logo acquisition across the DACH region. 

This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing go-to-market strategy, building high-quality pipeline, and leading a high-performing sales team.  

You’ll combine strategic leadership with hands-on deal engagement, driving complex, high-value opportunities while embedding modern, AI-enabled sales practices. 

What You’ll Do 

Revenue & Growth Leadership 

  • Own and deliver regional new business revenue targets 
  • Build and sustain a high-quality, scalable pipeline 
  • Personally lead and support strategic, high-value deals 

Go-to-Market Strategy 

  • Define and execute the DACH new logo strategy, aligned to regional priorities 
  • Identify priority industries, target accounts, and growth plays 
  • Continuously refine approach using market insight, data, and AI-driven intelligence 

Sales Leadership & Execution 

  • Lead and inspire a high-performing new business team 
  • Drive a disciplined, end-to-end sales process with consistent execution 
  • Embed AI into the sales lifecycle (targeting, account planning, outreach, pipeline insights, forecasting) 
  • Ensure strong pipeline health, conversion, and accurate forecasting 

Client Engagement & Deal Leadership 

  • Build C-level relationships across key industries (FS, Retail, Manufacturing, Life Sciences) 
  • Lead consultative, value-based sales engagements 
  • Position Valtech as a strategic partner in digital and AI-driven transformation 

Ecosystem & Collaboration 

  • Partner with marketing and delivery teams to drive aligned growth 
  • Leverage strategic partners (Adobe, Salesforce, Sitecore, Optimizely, hyperscalers) including joint AI-led propositions 
  • Represent Valtech externally across industry events and networks 

What You Bring 

  • Proven senior sales leadership experience in a digital consultancy / agency environment 
  • Strong track record of winning new logos and delivering significant revenue growth 
  • Experience leading and scaling high-performing sales teams 
  • Expertise in selling complex, enterprise digital transformation programmes 
  • Strong DACH network with access to senior decision-makers 
  • Practical understanding of AI in sales and client solutions  
  • Excellent consultative selling, coaching, and stakeholder management skills 
  • Commercially driven, with ownership of multi-million € targets 
  • Fluent German and English
