A Complex Re-platforming Process

Valtech technically reconfigured the e-shop of fashion label MADELEINE based on SAP hybris Commerce 6.0. The complex replatforming was achieved in less than eight months. In this extensive process, Valtech modernized the fashion retailer’s frontend as well as the backend. 

By replacing the previous frontend architecture of the website with a responsive design, customers are now able to comfortably look through the vast offers on their smartphones or tablets.

On the backend, Valtech integrated the existing MADELEINE IT landscape via ERP- and MAM-Systems. In addition, the digital agency implemented completely new middleware as well as a new PIM. The new platform was rolled out in eight countries and five languages. By using Agile and flexible project management of everyone involved in the project, there was almost no downtime during the replatforming.
