Tech_Girl is Valtech global initiative to create opportunities for women in technology by training girls in order to create interest in IT field at their young age.
On 16th May 2019 Valtech globally hosted tech_girl and in India, it was held at our Bengaluru office, 25 girls from St.Mark School were selected and invited to be part of this initiative which had a couple of lessons on Scratch & HTML. 
As part of warm welcome, our female employees were given the badge quoting “Tech_Girl” to wear during the event.
Each girl was assigned a buddy(our female employee volunteer) to guide them to the venue and assist them during the sessions.
The program included ice breaker games, inspirational speeches, learning, pizzas, refreshments, photo sessions, goodies, Certificates, crowns and lots of fun.
By looking at the young minds positivity towards technology it was such a proud moment for all of us. Below are the overwhelming responses received from them:
