Valtech is looking for a Client Director who will be responsible for winning new logos, developing partner relationships and bringing Valtech propositions to market to drive new business growth. You will be a key player within the new business function that will enable Valtech NL to achieve its growth ambitions over the next 3 years.
As we move to a more matrixed organization, this role will also be a key interface with regional teams like marketing, PR, demand generation, service lines etc, harnessing their capabilities to drive maximum impact for our Netherlands organization.
A day in the life of a Client Director – New Business Growth
As Client Director, you will be responsible for growing and supporting pipeline generation both direct to Valtech and through strategic technology partners – Sitecore, Adobe, Salesforce, Commercetools, Contentful, Algolia, Akeneo, Fluent to name a few. You will also be responsible for cultivating and nurturing new leads, with a target of 5m Euros per annum.
In addition, you will:
- Execute the growth strategy for the business to identify key areas of opportunity and approaches to capitalize on them and Client Growth Strategies including account planning, opportunity mapping etc.
- Build a deep knowledge of Valtech and it’s capabilities in order to help match client and prospect challenges to the right people, teams and capabilities to solve them.
- Be an evangelist for digital experience and commerce, immersed in the latest developments in this field and be able to extrapolate out to how they might be applicable to our client’s business.
- Be constantly developing a wide frame of knowledge and opinion on our industry and future development within it.
You and the role
You are a connector, who can work together with broader teams to open up new opportunities and create better solutions. You are someone with a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in Senior Client facing growth roles within the digital agency/tech professional services industry.
We would love if you have
- Experience working with large, multi-national clients across a range of industries that could span manufacturing, B2B, CPG, retail or agriculture.
- The confidence to lead the creation and building of complex digital products and solutions for our clients within an agency environment
- Strong business and commercial acumen
- A growth orientated mindset to explore opportunities to expand and develop new and existing client relationships
- Fluency in Dutch and English
