Employee Experience Specialist

At Valtech, our employee experience is at the core of our identity. That’s the reason why we have a full time position dedicated to it. As an Employee experience specialist, you will act as an ambassador of Valtech's culture by taking charge of the continuous improvement of the onboarding and integration of new employees and ensuring the development of our talents' skills.

You will be part of our Talent and Culture team and will work une Montreal’s Talent and Culture Lead.

Onboarding

  • Ensure the smooth integration of new employees in accordance with Valtech’s values and culture;

  • Collaborate with managers and all stakeholders involved in the induction process to provide advice and follow-up on the advancement and progress of new employees;

  • Ensure that new employees receive the support and feedback necessary to advance;

  • In conjunction with the onboarding stakeholders, standardize and continuously improve the onboarding program to ensure that it meets quality criteria and directs any new employee to the right resources and training content;

  • In collaboration with the technical actors, ensure documents on the integration in Confluence, TalentSoft and Valtech_Acamdemy are implemented;

  • Responsible for building and aligning the strategic roadmap with management's roadmap to prioritize the roles that will be enhanced in terms of onboarding experience;

  • In conjunction with the Technical Instructor and Practice Leader, the Employee Experience Specialist is responsible for building and continuously improving the developer bootcamp program;

  • Act as the Agile Instructor to refine the bootcamp project initiative. The Agile Instructor facilitates certain program meetings (planning, daily, retrospectives, etc.) to ensure that the onboarding and learning period runs smoothly;

  • Finally, ensure that the transition period of new employees in to their development teams is carried out in the best possible way.


Talent Development & Retention

  • Participate in the implementation of training programs aimed at the development of our talents, through a variety of learning methods;

  • Pay special attention to employees with a certain amount of experience in order to support them in their future progression at Absolunet;

  • Participate in the implementation of our training modules;

  • Act as a mentor to employees to ensure the development of their various skills.


Your profile:

  • You are fluently bilingual (French and English).
  • You have five (5) years of experience in human resources, at least two (2) in the information technology field;

  • You have solid experience in project management, you are able to lead several projects simultaneously;

  • You know the agile project management methodology;

  • You have an ease when working in multidisciplinary teams;

  • You are an excellent communicator with excellent listening skills;

  • You have experience (or at least a strong interest!) in implementing a learning management system;

  • You are able to maneuver in a fast-paced environment;

  • You are autonomous and enjoy working with minimal supervision;

  • You have a vivid imagination when it comes to training and development;

  • You are skilled in coaching and talent development;
