Marketing Consultant/Maternity Cover

Maternity cover until September 2020

We are searching for an experienced Marketing Consultant for our Marketing team in our Danish office. Valtech is a new breed of digital agency uniquely designed to help business leaders succeed in this new digital economy. As a Marketing Consultant you know the importance of an outstanding reputation and constant lead generation.

If you thrive as Marketing’s equivalent of a Swiss army knife, working together with local and global colleagues, cross-functional teams and not least our eager Sales team, to create and execute the most impactful marketing strategies and plans, you might be the one for us.

 

Here's what you will be doing

Your days will be diverse. Some days you might spend most of your time collaborating with our internal stakeholders designing the next campaign, others handling them, but most of the time you’ll find yourself with multiple tabs open at once, going back and forth between planning, executing and guiding.

 

Cross Channel Campaigns

It’ll be your job to make sure every part of all marketing campaigns is done by the book; from planning, developing, executing and on to evaluation. This is of course something you do with ease across several channels including website, social media, blog, print and video.
As a Marketing Consultant, you’re very independent and this means it will be your job to manage timelines, deadlines, content approvals, etc. for everyone involved.

 

Image and Awareness

The Marketing department takes responsibility for how we look from the outside in. Not only relating to leads and clients but also partners and potential employees.
This means you have to be comfortable planning and hosting events – both locally and globally. Most of them you’ll plan and execute together with both the Country Marketing Manager and your international Marketing colleagues.

You know the power of Social Media and know how to keep our channels strong. You’re also aware of how to handle the press and know how to manage the image we portray through local media.

 

Partnerships

We work with strong partnerships with our platform partners – again both on a local, regional and global scale. This means events, joint case videos and general strategic alignment, which you would be responsible for maintaining.

 

Your Support

Rest assured, you’ll have support for all of this. Locally and globally.
Locally you’ll have full support from your Marketing Manager and Consultant, and from the rest of the house as well – including digital designers and Copywriters. Sales is a natural part of Marketing as they give input for campaigns, case studies and in general the content we push.
Globally you’ll have support from your fellow marketeers, because we are truly one company. This also means that when we create our campaigns and events, we do this in collaboration with our marketing colleagues across Europe.

So, what are we looking for?

To be able to do all of the above, it’s vital that you thrive in collaborations. Whether it’s globally or locally, with our Sales team or our platform partners, you know that it takes more insights than just your own to get the best possible results.

We therefore prefer candidates who have a proven ability to not just build robust marketing plans, but who has the ability to execute with a strong collaboration and influencing skills, in order to provide input and gain support for the priorities.

Likewise, you should have experience using multiple channels and marketing systems as customer acquisition tools to create awareness and leads.

 

Specifically, you will need to meet the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of marketing experience is a must and experience from Sales/Business development from a digital agency is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English is a must
  • Experience in executing lead generation campaigns and/or working for a B2B organization or agency
  • Proactive with exceptional time management skills and passion for sales and marketing

We work with the following tools and systems, so any related experience would certainly be considered a plus.

  • Marketing automation: Marketo
  • SEM: Google Analytics and Google AdWords
  • Project Management/Collaboration: Trello/Jira
  • File Management: Dropbox
