The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud Architect to join our growing global team. Numerous ongoing and new projects — ranging from enterprise content solutions, mobile apps, data services to experience-driven enterprise e-commerce, user experience and marketing. Global opportunities to work with different industry verticals: retail & luxury, financial, healthcare, travel & hospitality, automotive, media & entertainment.
The Ideal Candidate
— 2+ years in Salesforce Commerce Cloud Technical Architect role;
— 3+ years leading software development teams;
— knowledge of Software Product Life-cycle Management and product development methodologies;
— hands on development expertise in SFCC;
— experience with architecture and technical documentation frameworks;
— writing public technical documentation for 3rd party implementation vendors;
— understanding of mobile development process and frameworks;
— experience in JavaScript, Restful API architectures, Payment gateways, Unit Testing;
— experience working on cache strategies, performance tuning, building cartridges for 3rd Party integrations;
— Upper- Intermediate English level.
Optional
— active SFCC Technical Architect certifications will be a big plus;
— experience with other SF Clouds will be considered a big plus.
The Role
As an SFCC Architect within our organization, you will:
— work directly with customers to define requirements and present solutions;
— lead technical design sessions and write technical design documents;
— demonstrate technical leadership, setting best practices for integration and application development, deployment, and testing, along with sequential SD life cycle and iterative refinement;
— manage technical scope and client expectation;
— design and develop integrations between applications and other systems as required by customers;
— provide hands-on, expert-level assistance to developers for technical issues; leader and mentor for other developers;
— demonstrate experience in SOAP, REST;
— provide level of effort for implementations;
— integrate with different external systems i.e. ERP, CRM, OMS, middleware, payment gateway system, etc. required by project scope;
— identifies risks to successful implementation;
— working closely with the Presale team.
As a consultant, you are expected to develop expertise in technology and communicate complex concepts and rationale to non-techies. We'll encourage and support this with frequent opportunities to share ideas internally. We also have consultants who frequently deliver at regional, national, and global conferences.
