In your role as a Salesforce Developer, you make the impact we have on our customers measurable. You work for leading brands within the Valtech BFSI practice and feel at home in a challenging, international environment in which you collaborate with other experts and support them.

What you do

Possess hands-on experience in building applications on the Salesforce.com platform.
Hands-on experience in Salesforce Apex, REST API, Trigger, Process Builder, and Data Loader.
Must have experience with ANT and Eclipse tools for working with the IDE.
Must be proficient in Salesforce object data model as well as integration of Salesforce with other applications using multiple integration patterns such as REST API, APIs, batch processes, connectors, middleware, etc.
Understand the requirements, technical specification and review them for development, perform technical design at module or object level
Unit testing of the application using uni testing frameworks
Adheres to policies, guidelines, and procedures of Valtech and customers while development is carried out.
Follow project processes and best practices for development.
Ensure quality of the solution and services are delivered as per agreed standards
Customer-facing and work directly with the client.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What we ask for

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including root cause analysis, functional analysis, development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment, and support of salesforce.com related initiatives
Develop high quality and scalable applications with Visualforce, Apex, and other Force.com technologies
Assist with platform administration responsibilities which include custom object development, workflows, triggers, migration tools, SOQL, and web services areas
Integrate salesforce.com with other systems
Develop Platform events to handle various integrations
Refactor Flows and Apex code to avoid SF governor limits, using nullification, wait for elements, and future methods to reduce CPU timeout limits, row lock errors, etc.
