What you do
Primarily work on SAP JDK Java, SAP JCo and Struts.
Experienced in Oracle DB with Linux.
Micro services using JSON and Xml.
Hands on Coding, Unit Testing, Code Reviews and Code Refactoring skills
ALM, Source Control and Version Management (GIT/VSTS).
Mobile apps/site development and Responsive Web Design (RWD).
Presentation, Demos, Documentation and UML skills.
Hands on with Code Quality and Code Analysis tools
Agile methodology (Scrum and XP preferred).
Java EE and SAP JDK Java
Experienced on cloud (preferably Microsoft Azure).
Tools like VSTS, Jira, SharePoint, Teams, HPQC, HPSM etc.
DevOps (CI and CD) - Automation of builds and releases (VSTS / Jenkins preferred).
Knowledgeable in query optimizations using complex queries and large data.
Hands on various SQL data base objects and SQL best practices.
Knowledgeable and experienced in SAP NetWeaver Application Server.
Data upgrades and migrations in SQL Server environment.
Knowledgable or experienced on open source or any other technology stack.

Understand technical specification, assist in preparing technical architecture, and review for development.

Ensure quality of the solution delivered as per agreed standards.
Development, maintenance and support activities based on the specification.
Implementation of project processes and best practices.
Adheres to policies, guidelines and procedures of Valtech and customer while development is carried out.
Unit testing of the application, peer review and documentation.
Implementation of multilingual application.
Integration of external and internal systems through various methods.
Ensure services are delivered as per SLAs.
Work on maintenance as well as support projects, help maintenance teams on technical mentoring, guidance, troubleshooting.
Work with internal technical and test teams, UAT and client members on change requests, enhancements, bugs etc.
Requirement analysis, evaluating information gathered from multiple sources, reconciling conflicts with support and help from tools, query logs etc.
Ability to breakdown assigned stories into tasks, prepare query logs and perform other process activities.
Strong documenation spanning across various design and technical docs, documenting non-functional requirements (NFR), presentations etc. using tools and sound UML knowledge.
Experience to multi-task and work on more than one projects / accounts in parallel.
Work on Agile (Scrum & Extreme Programming).
Contributing and defining technical solutions to proposals (RFPs).
Stay abreast of emerging technologies.
