Senior Business Analyst

He/She/They will play a key role in shaping and delivering digital solutions of value for our clients and will work closely with clients to understand the purpose of the project, the benefits that the business will realize, and the functionality required to make the project successful.
He/She/They are responsible for thinking through the complexities of the system and tuning the documentation effort to effectively communicate and deliver the solution and are involved in all phases of a project from discovery to post-implementation support; facilitating collaboration between the business, technology, creative and user experience to ensure a clear understanding of the solution.

- Act as the Senior Business Analyst on a large Content Management System (CMS) implementation project
- Engage stakeholders, facilitate workshops, conduct client interviews to define business goals and elicit business requirements
- Understand current business processes and define future business processes
- Determine documentation needs based on the project requirements and manage the documentation efforts
- Define and document business requirements, functional requirements, and process flows
- Define product requirements, translating requirements into user stories to prioritize the product backlog. Always maintain a well-groomed product backlog
- Participate in project process including Release Planning, Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Scrum, and Sprint Review
- Prioritize requirements collaboratively with business stakeholders, Creative, UX, and Technology disciplines
- Ensure that the project team has a clear understanding of functional requirements and business expectations
- Provide requirement inputs during technical design sessions, review design deliverables for consistency and as a source of requirements
- Collaborate with Creative teams and ensure that User Experience and Visual Design align with Functional Requirements
- Work with QA to develop testing strategy, identify test cases and participate in UAT
- Specify configuration options to support the implemented functionality using the business tools associated with the Sitecore platform
- Create training materials for train-the-trainer and end-user training sessions
- Assist in planning development tasks and provide support to the development team
- Define a process for change management and proactively manage requirement changes
- Proactively identify risks around requirements and communicate to PMs
- 5 years experience as Business Analyst
- Experience in using component-based CMS is a must ( Sitecore, Episerver, Optimizely, SFCC, AEM, etc)
- Experience working on web-based digital websites
- Understanding of Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum) and knowledge of the full project lifecycle
- Experience with e-commerce websites is a plus
- Ability to work in a complex ecosystem of stakeholders and 3rd parties including other agencies in a cooperative and collaborative mode (one team spirit)
- Experience writing user stories, and facilitating workshops (story mapping, impact mapping)
- Ability to deal with CMS constraints and be creative to help the developers build the best solution that fulfills the client's goals
- Ability to explain technical to non-technical people (marketing, communication, creatives)
- Team player, proactive, confident and good communication
- Highly developed organization and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills
- Experience with Jira
