THE OPPORTUNITY

You’ll set the course for a team of experienced project managers and developers. Together you’ll spearhead the digital transformation of some of the largest global and local brands. You’ll work hands-on with some projects yourself, and at the same time mentor your team to cultivate a crew of motivated, happy and exceptional superstars who deliver digital solutions that accelerate our client’s business. We’re looking for someone who wants to shake things up and fill their days with problem solving, innovation, realizing potential and phenomenal client projects.

THE ROLE

You’ll be the glue that holds everything together: Your world will consist of offers, contracts, timelines, sprints, stakeholder management, problem solving and 1-to-1’s.

You’ll work with a lot of different people, from developers to designers, and from all over the world, even within your own team. You’ll take on the role as mentor and make sure that your team continuously are on track, motivated and content with being a part of our tribe.

It’s your job to keep the team and the projects you’re delivering on a steady course. You’ll build strong partnerships with our clients, and act as a valued advisor who brings perspective, challenges their way of thinking, and who turns bumps in the road into opportunities that strengthen the relationship.

To specify your work tasks:

  • You’ll be accountable for delivering high quality projects on time and on budget.
  • You’ll be a hands-on project manager on parts of the project, as well as keeping your team on track.
  • You’ll build strong relationships with your Valtech team members and the client.
  • You’ll advice our clients on the best approach and dare to challenge their point of view.
  • You’ll mentor, develop and nurture your team members to create a crew of motivated, happy and outstanding superstars.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

What we expect from you:

  • You’ve at least 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead.
  • You’ve proven experience with agile methodology and can break down customer requirements. You most likely have a Scrum and/or a SAFe certification.
  • You may not be a programmer, but you DO speak code and coders get what you are saying.
  • You’re a versatile juggler, who can keep the grand overview of things.
  • You’re well-versed in Jira and Confluence or Azure DevOps.
