The role  

As a Product Owner, you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring 10 YEARS of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact. You'll be the main strategist connection within information technology capacity and client business objectives.  You'll oversee the support and successful creation of the product strategy, product roadmap, and product requirements, while guiding the team in developing the product.

Role responsibilities 

  • Being responsible for creating and maintaining close relationships with the main stakeholders. 
  • Engaging the team and client stakeholders to make things happen, with excellent planning and communication skills.  
  • Defining product strategy, obtaining stakeholder input on Business Vision, Business Environment, Strategic Objectives, and Business Roadmap, setting the product long-term and near-term vision.  
  • Leading the planning and maintenance of the product roadmap: creating a high-level visual roadmap that outlines the product’s vision and direction (single- or multi-product); developing release plans; continuously updating and reprioritizing the roadmap; aligning the product roadmap with business stakeholders; and creating the agile/sprint roadmap or internal roadmap used primarily with the development team and the client’s PO. 
  • Defining product requirements: document needs, requests and demands from various constituents; turn research findings and needs into technical product specification; evaluate and prioritize features against strategic goals and initiative; define the MVP; alter product requirements based on the user inputs/feedback after each deployment; backlog refinement & prioritization. 
  • Guiding the product development process: write user stories (based on the Product Requirement Document); create and maintain a product backlog, sprint planning and goal setting; accept user stories/product features (UAT, sign off), write release notes in collaboration with engineering team and the client. 
  • Reviewing and monitoring project metrics: analyzing data and insights to understand the success of the product and create performance report. 
  • Collaborating with the team to accurately estimate work efforts. 
  • Leading and facilitating Agile ceremonies and team meetings. 
  • Monitoring and tracking project scope progress against time and resources consumed. 
  • Approving and signing off on development deliverables for production release. 
  • Proactively identifying, reporting and escalating issues while providing actionable recommendations to the product team. 

Must have qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:  

  • 10 years in Product Ownership/Product Management. 
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, artifacts and ceremonies.  
  • E-commerce industry experience is a must. 
  • Being best practices driven. 
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.  
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering complex digital products with measurable business impact. 
  • Team management experience. 
  • Analytical mindset and excellent organization skills. 
  • Being proactive and hands on. 
  • Continuous improvement oriented. 
  • Eager to learn and challenge each day aiming to reach team's goals. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Computer Science, Electronics is highly required. 

 

Nice to have qualifications  

  • UX / UI and Design Thinking knowledge (desirable).

The benefits  

This is a Full-time position based in the US. The offered salary range is $100,000 - $160,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
