In the context of Processing Personal Data:

“Personal Data” is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as a name, email address, or other contact details, or as such word is defined under applicable local law.

The “Controller” is the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of Personal Data.

The “Processor” is the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes Personal Data on behalf of the Controller.

When a Valtech entity works on a client’s project involving the processing of Personal Data, the Valtech entity is a Processor and the client is a Controller.

In this context, the Valtech entity may use other Valtech entities as sub-processors to perform technical, administrative and support functions required to deliver its professional services to the Controller.

A “Valtech Sub-Processor” is any of the above mentioned Valtech entity which is a subsidiary or under the same control than the Processor, that has or may have access to or may process Personal Data.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the global leading standard where it comes to privacy regulation. The Valtech Group has decided to abide by the GDPR standard in all the countries where it carries out business with possible additional measures depending on applicable local laws.

The Controller acknowledges that the Processor may transfer Controller Personal Data to any existing or future Valtech entity, including to consultants working on a regular basis for Valtech entities, each of them being authorized to act as Sub-Processor. Valtech operational entities are listed above. This list will be updated regularly to take into consideration mergers, acquisitions and corporate reorganisation.
