Valtech improves its positioning in the BVDW Internet Agency Ranking 2022 with place 6

Düsseldorf – The digital agency Valtech receives the 6th place in this year's overall ranking of internet agencies of the Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft (BVDW) e.V. Valtech thus secures a place in the top ten for the fifth time in a row and improves its ranking by one position compared to the previous year.
Valtech looks back on a successful year 2021, with fee revenue of 94.137 million euros and an increase of 20.9 percent compared to the previous year. Per capita revenue thus increased by 2.5 percent. The number of employees in Germany increased by 18 percent between 2021 and 2022, from 496 to 584. In 2022, a further 2,300 new positions are to be filled worldwide, with over 60 of these in Germany.
Uwe Tüben, Managing Director Germany at Valtech in Germany, sees the Corona pandemic as one of the reasons for Valtech’s impressive sales growth. “We also benefited from the ‘in between covid-waves’ effect,” says Tüben. “Many of our customers implemented projects that had piled up in 2020 last year. Covid also highlighted further digitization needs in many industries. Between Covid waves, companies had time to address and work on those needs.”
Another reason he cites is the expansion of the offering to include ‘Commercial Data Strategy Consulting’, which will enable Valtech to provide even better support to existing customers in optimizing their business. In the tech area, the offering was expanded to include MACH solutions, i.e. API-driven, cloud-native microapps and so-called “headless” technologies. In addition, the joint venture subsidiary Valtech Mobility together with Volkswagen achieved very good results in 2021 and thus also contributed to the positive development.
Valtech also has great ambitions for 2022. The company wants to grow by 30 percent this year and at the same time establish itself as a preferred partner for digital business transformations for major international corporations from a wide range of industries.
In doing so, the company will benefit from its global presence, as the rapid growth course relates to all units of the increasingly internationally active Valtech Group. By acquiring various companies together with all their specialists, Valtech is continuously expanding the breadth and depth of its portfolio and is thus able to reliably and efficiently scale the services it offers.
