London, 24th July 2025 — Valtech, the experience innovation company, has appointed Murat Erder as the new CTO, Financial Services in Europe. He joins at a pivotal time as Valtech continues to scale its Financial Services offering across the region.
With over three decades of experience in the software industry, Murat brings a rare combination of technical depth and executive-level leadership. His career spans senior roles at Deutsche Bank, Deloitte, and BearingPoint, where he led global teams across architecture, engineering, and data strategy. At Deutsche Bank, Murat held several roles over a 15-year period, including serving as Director and Chief Technology Officer for key corporate functions, and playing a central role in the setup of the Bank’s Chief Data Office. He helped shape enterprise-wide architecture and cloud strategy, while also driving data governance and integration initiatives.
Murat is also an established industry voice and long-standing contributor to the software architecture community. He has been closely involved in the evolution of development practices, from early object-oriented methods to modern agile approaches, and has collaborated with influential figures across the broader software development community.
In his new role, Murat will lead Valtech’s European technology strategy for financial services clients, working closely with domain experts, engineers, and client partners to elevate the impact of technology and agentic-first transformation. He will also play a key role in growing and mentoring the team, deepening Valtech’s technical and sector-specific capabilities.
