COLOGNE, Germany, September 23, 2026. Valtech, the experience innovation company, today launched the Valtech Agent Factory at DMEXCO 2026. The new enterprise solution provides a common environment for building, orchestrating and governing specialized AI agents across marketing, commerce, product, service and operations. It is designed to help organizations move from a growing collection of copilots and vendor-specific agents to one connected and accountable capability.
AI agents are rapidly appearing across the enterprise technology stack, but the work around them remains fragmented. In Valtech’s 2026 Agentic Age study of 1,003 professionals, 75% reported that their organizations had not reached integrated or end-to-end AI-supported work, even though 77% wanted AI to play a greater role in connecting work across teams and systems. Only 4% believed that running more pilots would unlock the most value. The challenge is no longer simply access to AI. It is the operating model around it.
When agents remain confined to individual platforms, they see only part of the business context, cannot easily cross system boundaries and still depend on people to carry information from one step to the next. Companies automate tasks, but not necessarily the outcomes that matter. The Valtech Agent Factory provides a common layer across those tools, systems and workflows.
For business users, the Factory provides role-based workspaces, personalized agent shelves and one inbox for work that needs review or approval. For AI teams and IT, it opens into a shared “machine room” for configuration, versioning and rollback, guardrails, quality evaluations, execution traces, performance metrics and cost telemetry. The underlying technology is hidden by default, but transparent whenever users need to understand how an agent reached an output, which models it used, what each step cost and where a human decision entered the workflow.
“AI agents are already becoming part of the workforce, but in many companies they remain the ghost in the org chart. The next phase of enterprise AI will not be won by the company with the most agents. It will be won by the company that can make those agents work together, apply the right context and know when to stop for a human decision,” said David Toma, Vice President Strategy & Consulting DACH at Valtech.
“The Agent Factory provides that missing operating layer. It turns isolated tools into a connected, governed capability that can act across systems and improve over time, without locking clients into a single model, framework or cloud. That is how agentic AI moves from impressive demos to measurable enterprise value.”
Human accountability is part of the architecture, not a policy added later. Organizations can define approval gates, escalation paths and decision rights for consequential actions, while routine work continues within agreed boundaries. This allows agents to take work off the table without taking accountability away from people.
Designed as a portable layer rather than a closed platform, the Agent Factory can sit across different models, frameworks and runtimes. The design principle is simple: Valtech designs the factory; the client chooses the runtime. Depending on the use case and enterprise architecture, agents can run on Vercel, Google Cloud, a client’s own cloud environment or self-hosted infrastructure. Clients can adopt the capability as a Valtech-operated Agent-as-a-Service or deploy it within their own technology estate and operating model.
Rather than replacing the systems companies already use, the Factory connects to them through standard interfaces such as APIs, Model Context Protocol, webhooks and events. This enables agents to coordinate work across content, commerce, CRM, data, ticketing and collaboration platforms. Valtech and client expertise can also be codified as reusable, versioned skills, so each new use case builds on an existing capability instead of starting again from a blank prompt.
Live at DMEXCO 2026
At DMEXCO, Valtech is demonstrating a live marketing agent portfolio spanning research and intelligence, budget planning and attribution, brand compliance, content production and marketing analytics. Visitors can launch agents, follow how they collaborate, review completed outputs and inspect execution traces, model usage, costs and human approval points in one interface.
Valtech is exhibiting alongside Sitecore and Vercel in Hall 6.1, Booth B029, on September 23 and 24, 2026.
At 4:00 p.m. CEST on September 23, Valtech will also convene an executive roundtable in the CMO Lounge titled “The ghost in the org chart: Who actually manages your AI workforce?” The 45-minute peer session will examine who owns, governs and orchestrates AI agents, where humans need to remain in control and how organizations can connect agentic systems to measurable commercial value.
The Valtech Agent Factory forms part of Valtech’s wider Intelligent Enterprise approach, which connects business strategy, experience, data, technology and operating-model change to move AI from isolated initiatives to measurable enterprise impact. Organizations can begin with focused business and platform workshops to prioritize high-value use cases, define architecture and governance, and progress from a costed build plan to a working agent and scalable capability.
