Munich, July 15, 2025 – Valtech, the Experience Innovation Company, has appointed Carsten Riggelsen as the new Head of Data & AI for the DACH region. In this role, Riggelsen will drive the further development of Valtech’s data, AI and cloud services in the region and will strengthen the Strategy & Consulting team led by David Toma, Vice President Strategy & Consulting DACH.
With this appointment, Valtech reinforces its technological leadership in one of the most dynamic growth fields of digital transformation and underscores its commitment to supporting clients in the DACH region with data-driven innovation solutions.
Riggelsen brings over two decades of international leadership experience from tech companies, consultancies and large enterprises. As a Ph.D. holder in machine learning, he brings deep expertise in (generative) AI, data strategy, big data and cloud-native architectures. Most recently, he served as Global Head of Data & AI at Public Cloud Group. Previously, he built the Data & Analytics practice across EMEA at AllCloud and was instrumental in shaping the enterprise-wide AI/ML and data governance strategy at Deutsche Bahn.
